01Booking, payment & refund policy

1. 1.1To secure your place on the Umrah trip, a deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount will be communicated to you during the booking process.
2. 1.2The deposit is non-refundable unless stated otherwise by The Sunnah Experience team. Refunds, if applicable, will be determined at the discretion of The Sunnah Experience team and will be based on valid reasons provided by the participant.

02Cancellation policy

1. 2.1If the deposit has been paid, then full payment of the trip is required 40 days before departure.
2. 2.2The deposit is non-refundable.

• 60 days before the trip departure date, a 100% refund not including the deposit can be claimed.
• 40 days before the trip departure date, a 50% refund not including the deposit can be claimed. The guest name can be changed for free.
• Less than 40 days before the trip departure date, no refund can be claimed. The guest name can be changed for a fee.

03Cancellations and changes from The Sunnah Experience

1. 3.1In the event of cancellation by the participant, the refund policy will be applicable as determined by The Sunnah Experience team.
2. 3.2The Sunnah Experience team reserves the right to cancel or make changes to the Umrah package due to unforeseen circumstances, such as changes in travel regulations, political situations, or force majeure events. In such cases, reasonable alternative arrangements will be offered or refunds will be provided, as determined by The Sunnah Experience team.

04Travel documents and requirements

1. 4.1It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they possess valid travel documents, including a passport with a minimum validity of six months from the date of departure.
2. 4.2The participant must comply with all visa requirements and provide accurate personal information for visa processing. Any costs or consequences resulting from incorrect or incomplete information will be the participant’s responsibility.
3. 4.3If we are unable to obtain a visa for any of our guests, please note that The Sunnah Experience cannot take responsibility and cannot issue a refund for this.

05Travel insurance & ATOL

1. 5.1The Sunnah Experience will not be liable for any costs or losses incurred due to the lack of adequate travel insurance.
2. 5.2The Sunnah Experience flights are ATOL protected.
3. 5.3ATOL is provided by Polani Travel LTD and the ATOL number is 5311. It only covers flights and not the whole package, therefore the payment is taken separately: the £499 deposit covers the flight costs and the remaining costs cover the rest of the package.

06Health and medical conditions

1. 6.1Participants should ensure they are in good health and physically fit to undertake the Umrah trip. It is recommended to consult a healthcare professional before embarking on any travel.
2. 6.2Participants with pre-existing medical conditions or specific dietary requirements must inform The Sunnah Experience at the time of booking to make necessary arrangements, if feasible.

07Code of conduct

1. 7.1Participants are expected to adhere to Islamic values, local customs, and laws throughout the journey.
2. 7.2The Sunnah Experience reserves the right to terminate the participation of any individual who engages in disruptive or inappropriate behaviour that may adversely affect the experience of other participants or the overall trip.

08Limitation of liability

The Sunnah Experience and its affiliates will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused during the Umrah trip, including but not limited to personal belongings, health issues, transportation delays, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

09Room allocation

1. 9.1The Sunnah Experience strives to accommodate participants who know one another in shared rooms, subject to availability and specific requests made during the booking process.
2. 9.2To ensure room allocation with individuals of your choice, please specify your rooming preferences on the booking form or send an email to info@thesunnahexperience.com. While we will make every effort to fulfil such requests, please note that it is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
3. 9.3Some beds in a room may be roll-out beds and not full size. This is at the discretion of the hotel. We will work with the hotels to ensure adequate standards are met. The Sunnah Experience will not be liable should the hotel not provide adequate beds.

10Extra activities

Aside from breakfast, any extra payable activities or meals are not the responsibility of The Sunnah Experience and will incur an extra cost upon the participant should you wish to partake.

11Governing law and jurisdiction

1. 11.1These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UK.
2. 11.2Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.

12Force majeure

The Sunnah Experience shall not be held liable for any delays, changes, or cancellations caused by unforeseen circumstances or force majeure events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, political instability, or other events that make it impossible or unsafe to carry out the Umrah trip.

13Privacy policy

The Sunnah Experience respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

14Severability

If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15Amendments

The Sunnah Experience reserves the right to modify, update, or change these terms and conditions at any time. The updated terms and conditions will be effective upon posting on our website. It is the participant’s responsibility to review these terms periodically.
